John Bronaugh Hereford Percy papers, 1775-1956 (bulk 1794-1956).

Correspondence, genealogy notes, family histories, newspaper clippings, photographs, and scrapbook items comprise the genealogical research contained in the John Bronaugh Hereford Percy Papers. Correspondence consists of business letters and general correspondence regarding genealogical information. Typescripts exist for wills, histories, letters, and genealogy notes. Blueprints included for tracts of land on Fairview Plantation (La.), Retreat Plantation (La.), and the Bell and Turnbull Tracts in West Feliciana Parish (La.) Pamphlets and single serial issues relating to pertinent genealogy, as well as manuscript volumes converted into scrapbooks, are included as well. The genealogical content of these papers focuses primarily upon the Percy family, but records for other Louisiana and Mississippi families are consequently included within the research.
